The full details of Fred Hoiberg’s contract were released on Friday, and by the looks of it, it is setting the coach up to be a fixture at Nebraska Basketball for a long time.
The coach will make $2.5 million in his first season with the Nebraska basketball program. That number will bump up to $3 million in his second season, and $3.5 million over the next five seasons. There are also a bunch of bonuses added into the contract. He has the potential to make even more money if the Cornhuskers reach postseason play.
