It appears that the search for new Nebraska basketball coach is escalating quickly. Per a report from Chris Basnett of the Lincoln Journal Star , the program and Fred Hoiberg, have made contact. This comes as head coach Tim Miles begins to prepare his team for the NIT tournament. They are set to face Butler on Wednesday.
Hoiberg would be a great choice for the program. He has tons of basketball experience. Many of you may remember him as a player for the Chicago Bulls and Minnesota Timberwolves. He began his career as a player for Indiana Pacers in 1995.
