It wasn’t just that Nebraska basketball struggled on defense against Maryland, it was that when the game was on the line, the Huskers couldn’t get the stop they needed and because of that, they are now 1-2 in conference play.
However, throughout the 74-72 win for Maryland Wednesday night in College Park, the Nebraska basketball team had a tough time getting stops. Maryland finished shooting 46 percent from the field and 47 percent from three, knocking down 8-of-17 shots from behind the 3-point line.
The 3-point shooting hurt, but what did even more damage to Nebraska was Maryland’s big guys.
