The tale of the first half was a scary eye injury to Juwan Gary and two big runs by Connor Essegian and Brice Williams to jet out to a big lead at half and a 17 point victory over the South Dakota Coyotes.
Juwan Gary ended up getting hit in the eye early in the first half and had some swelling which kept him out for almost the entire game.
Thankfully, the Huskers were able to get a 19 point lead over the South Dakota Coyotes (now 6-3 overall) in the first half without the services of Gary.
