It has been a really weird week for the Nebraska basketball program as the Huskers have been linked to Fred Hoiberg and according to reports, it’s a done deal that he will be the next head coach.
The news broke the same day that Nebraska basketball was hosting Butler in the first round of the NIT. Certainly, it wasn’t an ideal way for it all to go down but it’s hard to blame anyone for it.
Bill Moos was absolutely correct to reach out to Hoiberg or whoever he had interest in as long as he wasn’t tampering.
