The Nebraska basketball team got some very unhappy news late Thursday night. Center Jordy Tshimanga has decided he no longer wants to be part of the Cornhuskers program.
The news broke seemingly out of the blue, catching many people who were expecting nothing but good things this season a little off guard.
Chris Basnett of the Lincoln Journal Star was one of the first members of the media to get official word from head coach Tim Miles about the departure:
