Nebraska looks to have gotten back on track after a disappointing defeat yesterday
Nebraska came back from a heartbreaking loss in the opener to take a doubleheader from Rutgers Saturday afternoon. Nebraska was dominate in both games, winning the first 8-1 and the second 8-4.
Nebraska put up five runs in the fifth inning in the first contest. Luis Alvarado walked, Jesse Wilkening singled, and Jake Schleppenbach walked to load the bases with no one out. Steven Reveles then drove in a run with a single. A pair of big two out hits by Jake Meyers and Ben Miller stretched the lead to 4-0.
