The Cornhuskers head down to some familiar territory, but in a newer facility. The Huskers played Oklahoma State all the time in their Big XII days, but in the old Allie P Reynolds Stadium that would look nice sitting next to Buck Beltzer, but was really in need of a replacement.
Boy did Okie State penny up. O’Brate Stadium is a $60 million facility that opened its doors in 2020. It has 3,500 permanent seats, including 13 suites, with room for up to additional seating up to 8000 total seats. So in all its slightly smaller than Haymarket Park in terms of capacity, so with all the season ticket holders getting first access to seats, it may be difficult for Husker fans to take it over like they have some stadiums in the past.
