The Nebraska baseball team has finally beat Rutgers! Nebraska routed the Scarlett Knights 15-5 after being swept by them last weekend at Hawks Field. The Huskers also dropped a morning contest to the Indiana Hoosiers, falling by a score of 4-2.
Indiana 4, Nebraska 2
In the morning game, Nebraska sent out Shay Schanaman for a Sunday morning start. Indiana countered with the Big Ten leader in ERA Gabe Bierman.
After Bierman sat the Huskers down in the first inning. Indiana then jumped on top of Schanaman quickly in the first. The first four Hoosiers all had base hits.
