Monday, Garrett Anglim committed to the Nebraska Baseball program in what was a big get for the new coaching staff. His commitment may be starting a trend. That trend was one of the reasons for his commitment. With his comments to the media on Tuesday, he revealed a little bit of what Nebraska Baseball is trying to do.
It appears that Nebraska wants to recruit more in-state. This makes sense, as there are tons of good baseball players in the state of Nebraska. The College World Series is here in Nebraska and the exciting event certainly brings home the point that Nebraska is a powerhouse state for baseball.
