Find me a better place to watch college baseball than Eddy D, Field on the campus of Pepperdine University. The Huskers found themselves there today, with Malibu Beach calling to them over the left field wall, and the perfect 65 degrees with a slight wind coming off the water. Turns out that was the perfect recipe for NU to get it’s offense going for the first time in their 10 day tour of various colleges in Los Angeles.

Nebraska got the scoring started in the 2nd, as first baseman Tyler Stone worked a full count leadoff walk off usual Sunday starter for the Waves, Dylan Stewart, who could pitch today as the Waves didn’t have a series last weekend.
