Nebraska jumped out to a quick 5-0 lead in the first inning and never looked back, securing their fifth straight series win with a 11-2 win. Jaxon Hallmark reached base five times to lead the offense while Chance Hroch had a strong outing on the mound.
The Huskers jumped all over Penn State starter Conor Larkin in the first inning. Table setters Joe Acker and Hallmark started the inning with a pair of hits. Spencer Schwellenbach followed with a two run double down the right field line. After a Max Anderson double put two on, Luke Roskam doubled the Husker lead with a single through the left side.
