Asked directly if Tim Miles would be coaching the Nebraska men's basketball team next season, Nebraska director of athletics Bill Moos provided a direct answer.
"Oh, yeah," Moos said matter-of-factly Tuesday afternoon. "Tim is my coach."
Moos went on to say that he would like to have an extension for Miles wrapped up in the week after the Final Four, which begins Saturday with the national semifinals and wraps up Monday with the national title game.
Moos wasn't ready to discuss details of any type of extension Miles would receive.
Miles has two years remaining on a contract that is set to expire in March of 2020.
