There’s no other way to put it.
Sure, the Huskers have four games left, but the best shot at ending the bowl drought is tomorrow. UCLA is 2-5 with only one Big 10 conference victory so far. Their two wins have come against 3-5 Hawaii and a Rutgers team in freefall since its 14-7 loss to the Huskers on tornado day at Memorial. They are currently ranked 66th nationally in Jeff Sagarin’s power rankings. (The Huskers are 39th.)
That’s the good news.
The bad news is UCLA’s number might be a little skewed by their brutal schedule.
