The Nebraska baseball team (4-5) picked up their second win over a ranked foe on the season, defeating the #21 Baylor Bears 12-4 on Friday night. Angelo Altavilla had a pair of home runs, while Matt Waldron tossed seven solid innings for the Huskers.
Nebraska wasted no time heating up the bats Friday night when they jumped out to a 4-0 lead in the first inning. Altavilla hit his first home run of the game after Spencer Schwellenbach walked to start the game. Luke Roskam followed up with a two run blast of his own to double the lead before the Bears even came to bat.
