LEXINGTON, Ky. -- John Cook was very familiar with the BYU volleyball team even before he began studying the Cougars for Friday’s NCAA Tournament regional semifinal match.
You can’t let a loss beat you twice, the Husker head coach has said, so he kept watching the Elite Eight match from last season, won by BYU in a sweep in Seattle.
Cook has watched that match about eight times. He’s got it on his DVR, and he watches it when he rides a stationary bike.
“It’s a good match to learn from,” Cook said Thursday after the Huskers had an afternoon practice at Memorial Coliseum.
