LEXINGTON, Ky. — Nebraska held off BYU in a rally-filled third set to post a 26-24, 25-17, 25-23 win in NCAA Tournament Sweet 16 action at Memorial Coliseum.
Kelsey Fien had 10 kills in the first two sets and finished with 12 in a balanced Husker attack. Amber and Kadie Rolfzen each added 12 kills, and Nebraska posted 10½ team blocks and held the Cougars to .191 hitting.
Kelly Hunter had 47 assists, and Justine Wong-Orantes added 23 digs. BYU outside hitter Alexa Gray had a match-high 18 kills.
The Huskers will face either Washington or Ohio State in Saturday's regional final at 3 p.
