NCAA volleyball: Balanced Huskers take care of Wichita State

Freshman Mikaela Feocke had 12 kills and junior Kadie Rolfzen 11 to lead the Nebraska volleyball team to a 25-19, 25-19, 25-14 win against Wichita State on Saturday in the second round of the NCAA Tournament.

Foecke got her total on 20 attempts with no hitting errors for an impressive .600 hitting percentage.

Nebraska advances to the Sweet 16 next weekend in Lexington, Kentucky. The Huskers will play the winner of BYU-Western Kentucky.

Foecke had kills on each of her four attempts as the Huskers took an 8-6 lead in the first set. She ended the first set with six kills on eight attempts with no errors in the set.
