Sports are fun, right?
Do you know why? Because sports can make all different types of people — college students and middle-aged men in polo shirts and grandmothers — do something goofy and fun like raise their arms in the shape of an "O."
Or, "raising the O," as it's been called.
And sports are fun because those fans are raising the O for a Nebraska volleyball player who didn’t have the same globetrotting club volleyball background as some of her teammates but still found a way to make the team, and then make an impact.
