With a memorable past month when the Nebraska women’s basketball team has won seven of its past eight games, the Huskers have given themselves a chance to make the NCAA Tournament depending on how well they do in the next five weeks. And after how bad last season was, that’s really impressive.

But because the Huskers did not have an overly difficult nonconference season, they must keep winning the games that they’re now suddenly expected to in order to earn one of the 32 at-large spots in the NCAA Tournament, especially knowing they still have to play 11th-ranked Maryland at least twice.
