Lincoln – The Husker basketball broadcast team will have a new sound to it, as former Husker point guard Jake Muhleisen (pronounced MULE-high-sen) will join Kent Pavelka on the Husker IMG Sports Radio Network this season.
Muhleisen, a three-year Husker captain during his playing career, will serve as the full-time color analyst after seeing spot duty in that role in recent seasons. He replaces Matt Davison, who served on the basketball broadcasts for 11 years before moving into a full-time role as Associate A.D./Football last winter.
Mulheisen was a four-year starter for the Huskers under Barry Collier, totaling 901 points and 284 assists during his collegiate career.
