So, on the biggest play of Nebraska’s season, offensive coordinator Danny Langsdorf called Stanley Morgan's number Saturday night at Camp Randall Stadium.
Down by six points in overtime, Tommy Armstrong threw a fourth-down ball to Morgan. The wideout got behind the Wisconsin defense just enough on the play, but strong safety D’Cota Dixon closed in and deflected the pass to complete the Badgers’ fourth straight win against the Huskers.
“I thought we had the last play,” Langsdorf said. “I thought Stan popped through there nicely. We had a little bit of a push there, and probably if we could have thrown it a hair quicker and get it to him, I thought he would have come out of that for a split second.
