Nebraska athletic director Bill Moos made clear Saturday night he wants his school and Iowa to play football annually on Black Friday.
In a text message to the Journal Star, Moos indicated a resumption of the Black Friday game — following a break in 2020 and 2021 — could be on the immediate horizon.
Moos’ comments came in the wake of a Land of 10 report earlier Saturday that said Nebraska and Iowa will resume their series on the regular season’s final Friday beginning in 2022.
When the Big Ten announced 2020 and 2021 schedules, Iowa’s season-ending opponent was Wisconsin.
