Montoya leads seeded Huskers entering Big Ten meet

Senior Eric Montoya is the highest-seeded Husker for the tournament. Montoya, who finished fifth at last year's Big Tens, is seeded second at 133 pounds following a 23-2 regular season.

Tim Lambert (125 pounds), Tyler Berger (157) and Aaron Studebaker (197) are each seeded third in their respective weight classes.

Lambert, who leads the team in pins with seven, is 26-5 this season, while Berger is 27-3. Each of Berger's three losses have come against the top two seeds at 157. Studebaker will enter the meet with a 24-6 record.

Colton McCrystal, who is making his first Big Ten meet appearance since 2014, is seeded fourth at 141 pounds, and TJ Dudley, last year's Big Ten and national runner-up at 184 pounds, is seeded fifth.
