Nebraska assistant Jim Molinari will serve as the Huskers' interim basketball coach until a replacement for Tim Miles is hired, the school announced Wednesday.
Molinari has been on the Nebraska staff since 2014. The veteran coach has previously been a head coach at Western Illinois, Bradley and Northern Illinois. He was also an interim coach at Minnesota for the 2006-07 season.
Moos in 2017 named Trent Bray as interim coach for the Nebraska football team between the firing of Mike Riley and the hiring of Scott Frost.
