Nebraska men’s basketball coach Tim Miles has developed a reputation for identifying and developing transfer guards in his four years with the Huskers.
Terran Petteway and Andrew White, from Texas Tech and Kansas, respectively, have been among Miles’ top scorers the past three seasons. Anton Gill, from Louisville, made a strong impression on the scout team last season and is expected to provide a scoring punch in 2016-17.
“Those guys left a trail for me to follow,” said Palmer, a former Miami Hurricane who Sunday announced his commitment to Nebraska. “That shows a good example of Nebraska getting good transfer players and really developing them.
