The Nebraska men busted a pair of Big Ten Conference losing streaks Saturday, and did so in convincing fashion.
Andrew White scored 28 points on 11-of-14 shooting and grabbed nine rebounds, and Nebraska never trailed in hammering Rutgers 90-56 before 4,454 fans at the Rutgers Athletic Center in Piscataway, New Jersey.
Nebraska (9-8, 1-3 Big Ten) snapped its 11-game regular-season conference losing streak that dated to last February, and a 10-game conference road losing streak.
Nebraska’s last Big Ten road victory was March 5, 2014, at Indiana. The Huskers were 0-9 on the road last season and lost Tuesday at Iowa.
