If you look closely, you can see evidence of the beginning of a goatee on Michael Jacobson.
You might even be able to count the whiskers.
“That’s about 18½ years right here,” Jacobson said with a slice of sarcasm.
Perhaps he’s trying to mask his still-boyish looks, not wanting to give in to the fact he’s a true freshman in college.
Certainly on the court, Jacobson and the other youngsters on the Nebraska men’s basketball team must do their best to hold their ground, sometimes literally, and do whatever they can to belie their years.
