Enough with the moral victory talk.
After Nebraska’s 77-72, back-and-forth, overtime loss to No. 21 Miami in Tuesday night’s Big Ten ACC Challenge, junior guard Andrew White wasn’t satisfied, and neither was coach Tim Miles.
“Coach Miles came in disappointed,” White said. “I think everybody here expects to win.”
A bigger, longer and more experienced Miami team pulled away after an early overtime deficit and overcame 28 points by Nebraska senior guard Shavon Shields before 15,646 fans at Pinnacle Bank Arena.
Nebraska (5-3) has lost all of its games to ranked opponents. The first one was a lopsided game at Villanova, one the Huskers led by seven points with seven minutes remaining in the first half.
