In this case, it was left-handed starter Jake McSteen, who left Saturday's loss to second-ranked Oregon State in the fifth inning. He pointed to his elbow area after making a 3-1 pitch.
"The ligament's intact," Erstad said. "It's not a slam-dunk case as it has been with some of the other guys. But he has a decision to make -- whether to rehab or have surgery.
