After a hard-fought victory last night, the boys from Nebraska awoke to a wet dreary day in Minneapolis and the task of taking on the hometown Gophers on the day they paid tribute to alumni and most importantly, long-time head coach John Anderson. The Dean of Big Ten coaches is approaching the end of his 43rd and final season as the Gopher skipper with a pile of accolades and accomplishments that will be hard to duplicate by any college coach. The fans turned out for Day 1 of the John Anderson Celebration, selling out Siebert Field.
May The 4th Be With You today, Gophers!
