Martinez practices Monday as Huskers begin preparations for Michigan

The Nebraska true freshman quarterback practiced Monday, NU senior offensive guard Tanner Farmer said Monday.

Martinez did not play in the Huskers' 24-19 loss to Troy. He injured his knee late in the fourth quarter against Colorado.

Martinez, with a brace on his right knee, dressed for Saturday's game and went through warmups. Scott Frost, however, said Martinez was not an option and Andrew Bunch got the start.
