Man arrested for drugs, theft of Husker volleyball coach's SUV

University of Nebraska-Lincoln police arrested a man Monday suspected of having more than an ounce of methamphetamine and some cocaine hidden in Nebraska volleyball coach John Cook's stolen SUV.

The geolocating service inside the coach's 2018 Lexus GX helped lead police to the 2500 block of Vine Street on Monday afternoon, where Rondale King was backing up the vehicle, according to an affidavit for his arrest.

The SUV was reported stolen from the Devaney Sports Center by an unnamed staff member earlier that day, a UNL police report said.

Investigators believed the SUV was taken between 8:30 a.
