The veteran coach was at Haymarket Park Tuesday evening with Hoiberg and NU assistant Matt Abdelmassih as Hoiberg threw out the first pitch before Nebraska's game with Creighton.
The coaches weren't available for interviews before the game, but Lutz joining Hoiberg wouldn't be a surprise.
