Albacete, Spain – Nebraska used a 9-0 fourth-quarter run to take control, as the Huskers held off Albacete Basket, 66-63, Tuesday evening.
The Huskers, who improved to 2-0 on the exhibition tour of Spain, rallied from a 17-point second-quarter deficit against a team which finished second in its professional division last season.
Andrew White III led the Huskers with 17 points and seven rebounds to place three Huskers in double figures. Tai Webster continued his solid play in Spain with 13 points, while Shavon Shields added 11 points for the victors.
Trailing 55-53, Shields made the first free throw to make it a one-point game before missing the second shot.
