Three Husker true freshmen placed at the same tournament. Jevon Parrish was third at 61 kg, Peyton Robb was third at 70 kg and Austin Emerson was fourth at 125 kg.
Robb was the eighth seed in his respective bracket. He went 4-0 in the consolation bracket and outscored his final four opponents 36-2.
