Three Huskers grabbed individual event titles as the Nebraska track and field team opened the 2019 season Friday at the first day of the Graduate Classic at the Devaney Sports Center.
Led by Raynesha Lewis, who set a personal record in the long jump at 20 feet, 3½ inches, Nebraska impressed in front of the 1,864 in attendance. Lewis' mark ranks sixth in the nation this season, as the junior defended her Graduate Classic long jump title from a season ago.
Nebraska's Erika Freyhof set a personal best in the 3,000 meters with a time of 9 minutes, 49.
