There’s never been much doubt about Tanner Lee’s arm strength, and the former Nebraska quarterback put it on display again Saturday at the NFL Scouting Combine in Indianapolis.
Working out in a group that included Heisman Trophy winner Baker Mayfield (Oklahoma) and surefire first-round pick Josh Rosen (UCLA), Lee not only fared well throwing the ball, but also put up pretty good numbers in athletic testing.
Lee was tied for No. 15 out of 17 quarterbacks in the 40-yard dash at 4.98, but had the second-best marks among quarterbacks in both vertical jump (32 inches) and broad jump (9-foot-7).
