The Lincoln Southwest kicker, set to walk on at Nebraska, was getting mail from the Husker football staffers, including Kenny Wilhite, director of high school relations.
So Jorgensen, a Super-State specialist, gathered the letters, took a picture and posted it on social media.
"It was just cool to see," said Jorgensen, who signed his walk-on papers Wednesday. "I put that on Twitter because this coaching staff is really amazing and they are about the players and more than just football, and it really shows."
Jorgensen was one of eight walk-ons to sign Wednesday. Southwest teammate Nick Leader also signed.
