Geo Baker hit a step-back three-pointer with 1.2 seconds left to lift No. 24-ranked Rutgers to a 75-72 win over Nebraska Saturday afternoon in New Jersey.
The Huskers (7-13, 2-7 Big Ten) had rallied from a 14-point second-half deficit to take a 72-66 lead with 3:09 left.
But NU didn't score again as Rutgers (15-5, 6-3) ended the game on a 9-0 run.
Six of the points came from Baker on a pair of three-pointers in the final 2:45. Those were Baker's only points of the game.
Cam Mack led Nebraska with 19 points and four assists, going 6-for-7 from the field.
