No. 13 Ohio State ended the game with an 11-5 run to hold off upset-minded Nebraska 64-59 Monday night in Columbus, Ohio.
The Huskers (14-8, 5-4 Big 10) led 54-53 after an Anton Gill three-pointer capped a frenzied second-half stretch that saw the teams trade baskets.
But the Buckeyes, now 18-4 overall and 9-0 in the league, forced the Huskers into six consecutive missed shots and two turnovers in the final 3½ minutes as Nebraska failed to capitalize on an opportunity for a signature win.
Kieta Bates-Diop paced Ohio State, finishing with 20 points and six rebounds.
