West Lafayette – Nebraska senior Abi Knapton captured the first Big Ten Conference diving title in school history on Friday night, when she splashed to a first place finish in the platform dive at the 2021 Big Ten Championships at the Morgan J. Burke Aquatic Center in Indiana.
Abi Knapton is Nebraska's most accomplished diver, holding school-records in the three-meter dive and the platform dive, qualifying for the NCAA Championship in 2017, 2018 and 2019 and also being named a first-team All-American and CSCAA Scholar All-American for each of those years. She has finished as high as fourth in the Big Ten platform dive, as well as finishing in fifth and eighth place.
