Sophomore guard Taylor Kissinger never missed a three-point attempt and scored a game-high 22 points to lead the Nebraska women’s basketball team to an 87-64 victory against USC Upstate on Sunday afternoon at Pinnacle Bank Arena.
Kissinger made a career-high six threes in one of the best three-point shooting performances in school history. The school record for threes in a game is eight by Natalie Romeo. In 2010, Jessica Periago was 5-for-5 on three-pointers.
Kissinger made four three-pointers in the first half. Her sixth came in the third quarter. She played until the final three minutes of the game but did not attempt a three in the fourth quarter.
