Khalil Davis thought he came a good distance as a player during his redshirt season on campus. But you know what's crazy? His word, not the writer's. Here's what's crazy.
"I've gotten better in the last couple weeks than I did the whole last fall," he said Tuesday. "It's cool to see, and see us get better as a group. Because I'm seeing all the other guys get better and they're seeing me get better. Just keep correcting each other and helping us."
It's understood a lot is on the line. And it's become more and more clear by the day a lot is riding on youth like the redshirt freshman Davis when it comes to that Husker defensive line in 2016.
