Just like his players, Bray moving full speed ahead in new defense

With a new defensive coordinator as his boss, and one that specializes in coaching the same position he does, Trent Bray has jumped in with both feet as Bob Diaco and the Nebraska defensive staff work to remake the Blackshirts.

"Coach Diaco's been great. He's been great to work for and fun to work for," Bray said after Tuesday's practice. "His energy, he's like that all the time — meeting rooms, it doesn't matter. That's been fun."

Bray said he and Diaco are taking turns coaching Nebraska's inside and outside linebackers in Nebraska's new 3-4 scheme. It was one of the details to be ironed out after Diaco's hiring in January.
