junior college wideout commits to Nebraska

Nebraska is adding more speed to the receiving corps, and it's coming from the junior college ranks.

East Mississippi Community College wide receiver Mike Williams announced his commitment to Nebraska on Wednesday night.

The 5-foot-10, 180-pound Williams also was receiving from Tennessee, Texas Tech and UCLA. Nebraska offered him over the weekend. He originally signed with Georgia Southern out of high school before heading to East Mississippi, the school showcased in the Netflix series "Last Chance U."

As a juco sophomore, Williams caught 30 passes for 669 yards and averaged a team-best 22.3 yards per catch.
