The Nebraska wrestling team is off to a strong start at the NCAA Championships at Madison Square Garden in New York.
The Huskers are in third place with 13 points after the first session, and sit behind fellow Big Ten members Ohio State (16½) and Penn State (16).
Nebraska received a big lift from heavyweight Collin Jensen, who upset Bucknell's Joe Stolfi 9-2 during Thursday's first round. Stolfi came into nationals ranked 10th, and for Jensen, it marked his second win over a top-10 opponent in his past three victories.
Jensen was one of eight Huskers to advance to the next session.
