John C. "Jack" Osborne, 78 of Hastings, died Sunday evening after his vehicle collided with with another vehicle on U.S. 6.
The Adams County Sheriff's Office told KSNB-TV that Osborne had been southbound on Juniata Avenue, failed to yield at a stop sign and crashed with the westbound vehicle around 7:50 p.m.
Both drivers were wearing seat belts, and alcohol is not believed to have been a factor in the crash, the TV station reported.
Osborne was CEO of Industrial Irrigation, a Hastings-based dealer of customized engines for the agricultural, industrial and oil and gas industries.
