Allison Doocy made quick work of the Nebraska softball team, striking out five and limiting the Huskers to three hits in Iowa's 2-1 win Tuesday at Bowlin Stadium.
Doocy entered the game with an earned-run average of 1.36, which ranked second in the Big Ten Conference. She picked up her 12th win of the season, and did so in a tight 1-hour, 27-minute window.
