This season didn’t end the way I hoped, with Nebraska getting reverse swept by Penn State and falling short of the national title game. I know some people will call this a disappointing season, comparing it to the football team’s struggles, but I completely disagree. We made it to the Final Four and won a Big Ten title (shared with Penn State), which is a massive accomplishment. It’s frustrating how high we set the bar for ourselves, as if anything less than a national title isn’t good enough. That mindset can really take the joy out of a season like this.
